Purpose and Scope of Position:
- Performs key HR support duties including payroll and HRIS administration, and provides overall HR support.
Key Responsibilities:

Assists with the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reviews payroll reports for accuracy and assists with resolving payroll discrepancies.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HRIS and payroll systems.
- Processes employee changes including new hires, compensation changes, transfers, promotions, terminations, leaves of absence, and other personnel updates.

Administers employee garnishments, including setup, reporting, and reconciliation.

Assists with payroll tax and compliance-related reporting as needed.

Assists employees with payroll-related questions and provides timely resolution or escalates issues when appropriate.

Supports benefits administration and assists employees with general benefit-related questions.

Maintains confidential employee records and ensures information is handled appropriately.

Assists with employment verifications, HR reports, audits, and other HR-related requests.

Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes, including HRIS and payroll system updates.

Assists with special projects and reports as needed.

Education/Certification:

A two-year college degree or equivalent preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Experience:

Payroll experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Language Requirements:

Must be able to read and write fluently in English and Spanish
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for 8 hours a day
