The Estimator position is responsible for providing accurate material quantity take offs, budgets, and proposals in the bidding process.

- Residential Shell Contractor looking to expand its Estimating department
- Full time position available
Job Responsibilities:
- Review of plans and Client’s scope of work.
- Sending RFI’s to Clients.
- Estimating plans in estimating software.
- Input of material take off data from estimating software into spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) for bid analysis and future ordering.
- Write proposals and scope of work (to Client).
- Conduct plan reviews with Clients, Construction Managers and Project Managers as needed.
- Process all job and bid documents at award of job.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Planswift Estimating Software to produce material take offs. Must be able to hit the ground running with no training in Planswift.
- Understanding of concrete, masonry and framing preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and the use of formulas/data manipulation in Microsoft Excel.
- Self-starting, highly motivated, independent and goal oriented.
- Excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on quality of work and accuracy.
- Very organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Research oriented individual.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Professionally and technically competent.
- Analytical with the ability to examine issues from multiple viewpoints.
Requirements:
- Basic estimating proficiency test is part of the interview process

Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
