Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are readily available.
- Maintain accurate dental records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Assist with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding during visits.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant 3 years minimum
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices and techniques is essential.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control within the practice.
- Eaglesoft is a plus but will train
- Cerec scan and design
- Knowledge of Clear Aligner Therapy
