TEACHER AIDE - Full Time - The Manitou School
Effective Date: On or about September 8, 2026
The Haldane Central School District (HCSD) is seeking applicants for a full time Teacher Aide position to support a student at The Manitou School, which is a private school located within the boundaries of the HCSD. This position is scheduled to begin September 8, 2026- June 16, 2027. Compensation commensurate based upon experience and in accordance with Haldane CSEA contract. The exact start and end times each day are to be determined.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting students who may experience anxiety, benefit from assistance during transitions, or require additional structure, encouragement, and guidance throughout the school day. While prior experience is valued, we are especially seeking individuals who demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting all children, a compassionate and patient approach, and a willingness to learn and grow as part of a collaborative educational team.
The Teacher Aide will work under the direction of the lead teacher(s) to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. As an integral member of a collaborative team, the aide will help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student receives individualized support, is encouraged to reach their full potential, and is valued as an important member of the school community.
Pay: From $17.05 per hour
