Putting material away on shelves, lose fitting, bags, boxes, pulling outbound orders, lifting up to 50 lbs. This could be a temp to perm opportunity if candidate is the right fit. 75% of the day associate will be on their feet. This is more of a physical position.
Must haves:
- 1 year Sit Down and Stand up forklift/Order picker-up to 20 feet in heights
- 1 year warehouse experience.
- Looking for longevity and no more than 3 month gaps in work history (unless noted reason on the resume)
Nice to have:
Familiar with wholesale distribution (Lowes, or Home Depot)
***Not climate controlled -hot in the summer months.
Qualifications:
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
- Forklift Operator experience is required.
- 50 lbs lifting required
- Bending, twisting, pulling and standing for full shift.
- Read and understand work orders
Responsibilities:
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
