Embedded Flight Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
The selected candidate will be part of a software engineering team performing embedded software development activities. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative team settings across all levels.
We are seeking a software engineer to perform board-level software development and test activities. Candidate will write software to test flight hardware and demonstrate connectivity, install software on, boot up, and checkout of flight hardware.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science discipline from an accredited university
- Experience developing software with C++ and object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in VxWorks 6.9 and 7.0
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in STEM
- Previous software experience in Java, C/C++, and Python. Must have experience in software development processes
- Experience in Agile software development teams utilizing continuous integration and test methodologies
- Ability to obtain/maintain SCI Security clearance
