Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including:
- Prophylaxis
- Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)
- Fluoride treatments
- Sealant applications
- Conduct initial oral health screenings and review medical/dental histories
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the connection between oral and overall health
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene
- Current New Jersey Registered Dental Hygienist License
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Nitrous Oxide Certification is a plus
Schedule
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- 32+ guaranteed hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- One Saturday per month
