Pay: $18-$20/hr. DOE

What You'll Do
As a Yard Associate, you'll play a key role in keeping the yard organized, assisting customers, and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Assist customers by loading materials safely and accurately
- Pull and assemble customer orders for pickup and delivery
- Receive, unload, and put away incoming inventory
- Organize and maintain inventory throughout the yard
- Verify outgoing loads for accuracy before delivery
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Complete occasional local deliveries in non-CDL vehicles (under 26,000 lbs.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support other departments as needed and contribute to overall team success

What You Need to Have

The Musts
- Ability to frequently lift and carry 50+ lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform basic math and measurements
- Safe forklift operation or willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Flexibility to assist in different areas as business needs change
Preferred
- Previous lumber yard, warehouse, construction, or building materials experience
- Forklift experience
- Experience loading materials and fulfilling customer orders
- Delivery experience in non-CDL vehicles
