NEEDED: Experienced IHSS Caregiver, Spanish Speaking (36 Hours/Week) Location: La Crescenta/Montrose
Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver for an elderly paraplegic woman living at home with her husband, who has Alzheimers. Applicants must be a current IHSS provider. Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5:00PM-1:00AM and Fri: 4pm-8pm. Responsibilities: Hoyer lift transfers between bed and wheelchair; repositioning every two hours; incontinence care and diaper changes; basic wound care support; CPAP assistance and daily nebulizer treatments; bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care; meal preparation; light housekeeping and laundry; and supervision. Qualifications: Current IHSS provider, Spanish-speaking, experience with Hoyer lifts, personal care, dementia/Alzheimer's , Must be patient, reliable, and compassionate. Compensation: Paid through the IHSS Program at their program rate. Please apply only if you meet the IHSS, language and schedule requirements.
