Your Impact
As a Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting specialty treatment days and helping partner practices successfully integrate orthodontic services into their offices. Your contributions will directly improve patient experiences, office efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Assist orthodontic specialists during patient treatment and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for specialty days.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure all materials are organized and readily available.
- Support efficient patient flow and treatment coordination throughout the day.
Patient Care & Education
- Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion.
- Review and reinforce treatment instructions with patients and families.
- Answer patient questions and help create a positive, comfortable experience.
Office Support & Collaboration
- Partner with office teams to support seamless specialty integration.
- Assist in training and educating staff on specialty workflows and best practices.
- Help improve operational efficiency and treatment day productivity.
- Build strong working relationships with specialists, office teams, and patients.
Qualifications
Required
- Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and patient care abilities
- Ability to travel to partner offices as needed
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
- Orthodontic assisting experience
- Experience working in multi-provider or specialty environments
- Passion for mentoring, training, and supporting team development
