osition Overview:
We are seeking an Experienced Fiberglass Technician with extensive hands-on experience in fiberglass layup, lamination, repair, and finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with fiberglass resins, gel coats, and composite materials, and be able to consistently produce high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hand lay-up, chopper gun, and lamination work using fiberglass, resin, and gel coat materials
- Read and follow blueprints, molds, and specifications for custom tanks and products
- Repair, patch, and refinish fiberglass products as needed
- Ensure proper mixing and application of resins and catalysts
- Operate tools such as grinders, sanders, rollers, and brushes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fiberglass/composite work (5+ years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fiberglass materials, gel coat application, and curing processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
- Physical ability to lift and move fiberglass materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment
- Safety-conscious and reliable

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
