Job Overview
Our fast-paced Ophthalmology practice is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our team! Applicants should have excellent clinical and communication skills, be neat, dependable, meticulous, and work well with our experienced staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction devices.
- Develop and document comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records utilizing EMR systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on eye health, disease prevention, and proper use of prescribed eyewear or contact lenses.
- Provide dry eye treatments.
Qualifications
- Must be a fully licensed optometrist in California.
- Experience preferred but not required but must be confident using optometric technology.
- Interest in specialty care such as dry eye treatments preferred.
Hours: Our office is open Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
The position is for a part-time role of approximately 16 hours per week.
Pay: $425.00 per day
