Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and caring Caregiver/Personal Care Aide to support clients in their homes for 30–38 hours per week. The ideal candidate is patient, professional, and passionate about helping others maintain independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, room organization)
- Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and appointments
- Maintain accurate daily care notes and report changes in condition
- Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and care plans
Qualifications
- CNA, GNA, HHA, or PCA certification preferred
- Experienced companions encouraged to apply
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass background check
- Strong communication skills and a caring, professional attitude
