We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our busy and patient-centered Internal Medicine practice. The ideal candidate is a motivated healthcare professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients and obtaining accurate vital signs and medical histories
- Preparing patients for examinations and assisting providers during office visits
- Performing EKGs and other routine clinical procedures
- Administering injections, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments
- Documenting patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Managing clinical messages, prescription requests, and patient follow-up communications
- Maintaining exam rooms and clinical supplies while adhering to infection control standards
- Supporting daily office operations to ensure an efficient and positive patient experience
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Previous experience in a primary care or internal medicine practice preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care
