Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers.
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for efficiency.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation).
- Transport freight including mainly grocery products.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure truck safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries on time.
- Follow all safety protocols during loading/unloading processes.
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmission.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, dump trucks.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
- Prior experience in over-the-road (OTR) routes or logistics cargo handling is a plus.
- Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and safety standards a must.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off trucks, across designated routes.
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing routes for efficiency.
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo.
- Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and hazardous goods handling standards.
- Transport various types of freight including dangerous goods, automobile transportation, and other specialized cargo like dump trucks or tanker loads.

- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and dangerous goods handling procedures.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
- Ability to manually handle cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Prior experience in over-the-road (OTR) routes or logistics cargo handling is a plus.
- Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and safety standards for hazardous materials or specialized freight.
