At Kid’s First Childcare Center, we believe in the power of play, connection, and community.
We nurture the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively—through hands-on experiences, positive guidance, and meaningful relationships.
Our teachers show up every day with heart, grit, and purpose—because we know the work we do truly matters.
Why Toddlers? Why You?
Toddlers are full of wonder, energy, and big emotions—and they teach us just as much as we teach them!
From first friendships and curious discoveries to the joy of learning new words, every day in the Toddler & Twos classroom is full of love, laughter, and learning.
We’re looking for a teacher who sees:
- The magic in the mess
- The progress in the process
- The joy in the journey
What You’ll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, play-based environment
- Support independence through routines like mealtime, potty training, and transitions
- Plan simple, meaningful activities that build language and motor skills
- Model kindness and guide big emotions with positive strategies
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with your co-teacher
Who We’re Looking For
Someone who is:
- Loving and patient
- Curious and creative
- A true team player
- Communicative and positive
- Committed and consistent
- Growth-minded
Consistency builds safety — and toddlers thrive when we show up steady and calm.
Qualifications
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or working toward one preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and positive guidance
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

If you love toddlers — their determination, their curiosity, and their “I did it!” moments — we’d love to meet you.
