One Source Technologies is a 25-year established commercial low-voltage contractor headquartered in De Pere, WI specializing in structured cabling, network infrastructure, AV, security, and wireless solutions. We design and install technology systems for commercial customers throughout the United States.
We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Installer to join our team. No previous low-voltage experience is required — we provide paid, hands-on training to help you build a career in the skilled trades.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new technology, traveling, and developing a long-term career in commercial structured cabling and telecommunications.
Successful Installers have the opportunity to advance into Technician and Lead Technician roles as they gain experience and develop their skills.
This is primarily a travel-based position. Candidates from Green Bay and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
Working alongside experienced technicians, you will learn to:
- Install commercial structured cabling systems including Cat6 and Cat6A copper cabling.
- Install and support fiber optic cabling systems.
- Terminate, test, and troubleshoot cabling systems.
- Install cable support systems including J-hooks, basket tray, ladder rack, and other pathway solutions.
- Install racks, patch panels, and network infrastructure components.
- Perform cable testing and documentation.
- Read floor plans and follow project specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, ladders, and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs).
- Follow professional installation standards on commercial job sites.
- Approximately 75% out-of-town travel.
- Travel throughout the United States for commercial projects.
- Travel expenses fully covered.

- Daily per diem provided.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Some local projects may be available between travel assignments.
Candidates must be comfortable traveling during the work week.
No prior low-voltage experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow direction.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work at heights.
- Ability to distinguish wire colors.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Helpful Experience:
- Construction experience.

- Manufacturing or mechanical experience.
- Low voltage, telecommunications, or structured cabling experience.
- Starting pay: $20/hr+ based on experience and qualifications.
