Project Manager
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple control aspects
- Recruit, develop, and manage project team
- Collaborate with internal team and client to make project decisions and accomplish problem resolution
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Manage project lifecycle, from project handoff to completion and close-out
- Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed
Financial Management & Risk Assessment
- Develop, review, and oversee project expenses, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to deliver project within the project budget.
- Develop, review, and oversee project schedules
Culture & Talent Development
- Support the team with various duties, including preparing documents
- Wear attire that is appropriate for project setting (business casual)
- Develop and manage project team, to include recruitment as necessary
- Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude in all interactions to foster a productive and collaborative work environment
Relations & Representation
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with project team, leadership, clients, vendors, etc.
- Compliance & Day-to-Day Operations
- Perform timely project buyout
- Obtain permits when required
- Oversee contractual issues and ensure compliance
- Ensure construction site rules and procedures are implemented and followed
- Ensure projects meet safety goals and standards
- Submit reports and documentation required for effective cost tracking
- Willingness to travel to construction sites
- Other duties as assigned
Monitoring & Review
- Perform regular site visits to ensure effective project oversite
- Thoroughly review superintendent’s daily job and equipment reports
- Identify and escalate issues to leadership as needed
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marine construction, with at least 3 years as project manager
- Knowledge of marine construction methods and materials
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment
- OSHA 30 is required
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred, not required)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
