Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
Location: Corvallis, OR
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $75/hourly
Mandatory Qualifications for This Job
- Active Oregon Radiologic Technologist License
- Current ARRT (R) Certification
- Current ARRT (CT) Certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Hospital-based CT imaging experience preferred
- Experience performing diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) procedures
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following physician orders and department protocols
- Operate CT scanners safely while ensuring optimal image quality
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging examinations
- Review patient history and verify imaging orders prior to procedures
- Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Maintain patient safety by following radiation protection and infection control standards
- Document imaging procedures accurately using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure CT equipment is properly maintained and report equipment issues promptly
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining workflow efficiency
- Follow all hospital, state, and regulatory compliance guidelines
