Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of Korean-inspired dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.
- Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting new ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
- Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy.
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
- Experience working in restaurant settings, especially fine dining or Korean cuisine preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
