Position Summary:
BPG-USA is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Nightshift Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and logistics team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our book manufacturing operations by safely transporting raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods throughout the facility. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and communication are critical to meeting production and shipping deadlines.
Schedule
- 7pm - 7am - Monday - Thursday. four 12-hour shifts, dependent upon operational needs. There is a $1.00 shift differential for night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
- Move products between departments, production lines, and storage zones
- Accurately scan, label, and record material movements using warehouse systems or paperwork
- Inspect forklift and perform basic preventative maintenance checks before each shift
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and staging areas
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and production staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to become certified)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout a 12-hour shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
