Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled A/V Sound Director to lead the audio-visual production for our upcoming 4.13 Glory Woman's Conference. This pivotal role involves overseeing all sound, video, and multimedia elements to ensure a seamless, engaging experience for attendees. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellence in audio-visual technology, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- Manage and operate all audio and visual equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, and video screens to deliver clear sound and high-quality visuals throughout the event.
- Coordinate with event organizers and speakers to understand technical requirements and ensure proper setup and testing prior to the conference.
- Oversee live sound mixing, signal processing, and troubleshooting during the event to maintain optimal audio quality.
- Direct video content creation, filming, editing, and post-production using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to produce engaging conference materials.
- Supervise videography efforts, capturing key moments of the event for promotional or archival purposes.
- Collaborate with content creators on video production projects, ensuring alignment with conference themes and messaging.
- Maintain all AV equipment, perform regular checks, and coordinate repairs or upgrades as needed to ensure reliable performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid.
- Strong background in sound engineering, signal processing, and live audio management in large-scale events or conferences.
- Demonstrated ability to operate professional AV equipment in fast-paced environments with tight schedules.
- Knowledge of videography techniques and content creation processes for live events or promotional materials.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead technical teams and coordinate multiple aspects of AV production seamlessly.
