Role Overview
We are seeking an Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to handle all inbound customer traffic and convert opportunities into qualified, high-quality leads for our outbound sales team. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers reaching out via web chat, inbound phone calls, and online inquiries. Your goal is to understand customer needs, provide accurate information, and pass hot, well-documented leads to the outbound Sales Representatives on your team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, problem-solving, and being a key part of the sales pipeline without carrying a long-term book of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all inbound customer inquiries via phone, web chat, and website leads
- Ask the right questions to qualify customer needs, urgency, and buying intent
- Assist customers with basic product questions, stock checks, and order-related inquiries
- Create quotes and estimates from inbound requests when appropriate
- Identify same-spec or alternate products when items are out of stock
- Convert inbound inquiries into qualified, hot leads for outbound reps
- Accurately document customer details, notes, and follow-ups in NetSuite (CRM experience is a plus, training provided)
- Assign and route qualified leads to the appropriate outbound sales rep
- Follow established scripts, processes, and quality standards
- Collaborate closely with outbound sales, procurement, and operations teams
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role preferred
- Strong multitasking skills and comfort working in multiple systems at once
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new tools quickly
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Comfortable working in a team-based sales environment
- Experience with NetSuite or other CRM platforms is a plus, but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
