What You'll Do
Scoopers are at the heart of the Salt & Straw experience, creating memorable moments for guests while helping the shop run smoothly.
You will:
Deliver exceptional customer service and create welcoming experiences for every guest
Share flavor stories, offer samples, and help guests discover their next favorite scoop
Scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, and support daily shop operations
Greet guests, answer questions, and help guide the flow of the shop
Accurately process transactions and assist with online and delivery orders
Prepare products according to recipes and quality standards
Restock ice cream, supplies, and retail products throughout the shift
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards across the shop
Support dishwashing, cleaning, and other operational tasks that keep the shop running smoothly
Work collaboratively with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment

You're a Great Fit If You:
Are 16+ years old
Can work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Can work at least 3 shifts per week, including 2 closing shifts
Enjoy working with people and creating memorable guest experiences
Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy staying busy
Work well as part of a team and support those around you
Are curious, dependable, and eager to learn
Have food service, retail, coffee, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred but not required)
Are comfortable discussing flavors, offering samples, and engaging with guests
