Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Custom Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to custom cabinets, ensuring they meet precise aesthetic and durability standards. Your expertise in various finishing techniques, surface preparation, and coating application will contribute to delivering exceptional products that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities
- Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and surface treatment to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
- Operate spray guns, including airless paint sprayers and conventional spray equipment, to apply finishes with precision and consistency.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, material handling, and finishing tasks.
- Interpret production documents such as work orders, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure accurate application of finishes.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including PPE use such as respirators and protective clothing, especially during powder coating and industrial painting processes.
- Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to verify finish uniformity and color accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or construction painting surface preparation.
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of spray guns, hand tools, power tools
- Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes..
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence, including PPE use and respiratory protection measures.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to finishing applications.
