Augusta County Fire-Rescue (ACFR) is a combination Fire-Rescue system operating from 17 stations and serving the second-largest County in Virginia. The department is authorized for 155 full-time positions, supplemented by part-time personnel. Career staff operate out of 13 of the 17 stations.
