As our Morning Community & Hospitality Coordinator, you'll help bring that mission to life. Business owners, entrepreneurs, remote professionals, and community leaders walk through our doors each day, and you'll be one of the first people they see. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and genuine care for others will help ensure every member and guest has an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
This isn't a traditional receptionist position. It's an opportunity to become an integral part of a thriving professional community by creating an environment where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work.

What You'll Do:
Welcome Our Members
- Greet members and guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Learn member names and businesses.
- Assist visitors and answer questions.
- Conduct tours for prospective members.
- Help onboard new office and coworking members.
- Assist in event coordination
Open the Building
- Prepare the space before opening each morning.
- Complete the opening checklist.
- Prepare coffee and hospitality stations.
- Ensure conference rooms are clean and ready to receive members/ guests
- Walk the space to ensure every space reflects SSC standards.
Administrative Support
- Answer phones and emails.
- Process mail and package deliveries.
- Assist with member accounts and administrative requests.
- Maintain office and hospitality supplies.
- Coordinate maintenance requests.
- Keep accurate records and assist with office operations.
Brand & Community
Every Team Member helps tell the story of SSC.
Responsibilities include:
- Notice the everyday moments that make Second Story special and capture them through photos, short videos, or stories when appropriate.
- Celebrate member milestones and community successes.
Shift Transition
You'll overlap daily with our Afternoon Hospitality Team Member to ensure a smooth handoff of member needs, tours, maintenance updates, events, and building operations.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in hospitality (fine-dining, hotels, retail, coffee shops, coworking, event planning, or customer service) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar) is a big plus.
- Social media proficiency (LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook) required.

This is a part-time position. Health insurance and retirement benefits are not offered with this role.
