Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, including engines, electrical components, and powertrain.
- Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct engine repairs, including diesel engine maintenance and automotive engine system troubleshooting.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to diagnose electrical system faults and implement effective repairs.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as alignments, wheel balancing, and heavy lifting to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and maintain automotive components using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety standards during manual handling, heavy lifting, and repair procedures.
- Assist in auto body repairs when necessary, contributing to comprehensive vehicle service solutions.
- Support ongoing maintenance of vehicle systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other modern automotive technologies.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong understanding of standard passenger car operation and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostics.
- Skilled in engine repair, powertrain servicing, and automotive engine technology across various vehicle brands.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation.
- Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment for repairs.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex vehicle systems efficiently.
- Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged manual tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a big Plus.
