Reports To: Studio Manager / Studio Manager
Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the Studio Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. You are responsible for training and leading a high-performance team, supporting member acquisition programs, and executing lead nurture activities while growing overall membership and revenue. The Assistant Manager helps set the tone in the studio and sees excellence as the only acceptable result of the team's efforts.
Core Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations: Provide support to the Studio Manager to meet or exceed all membership targets and performance metrics. Responsible for training Wellness Sales Associates and Sauna Attendants.
Sales Execution: Consistently sell packages, memberships, and share promotional opportunities while speaking to the science, technology, and benefits of infrared sauna, chromotherapy, and red light therapy.
Lead Generation & Outreach: Responsible for lead generation via grassroots marketing, community outreach programs, and hosting studio events.
Communication: Oversee and execute inbound and outbound communication via phone call, SMS, email, and social media messaging to ensure consistent, top-notch customer service and external communication cycles.
In-Studio Revenue: Drive in-studio revenue activities, including first visit presentations, missed guest follow-ups, retail upselling, and corporate sales. Manage all lead management tasks required during the shift.
Client Experience & Retention: Foster member retention through events, communication, and additional tactics to ensure a high-energy, fun, and engaged membership culture. Ensure all front desk systems are followed, including member check-in, guest registration, and delinquent account procedures.
Facility Management: Maintain clean facility and studio appearance during operating hours. Ensure the reception area, sauna rooms, restrooms, and laundry room are cleaned/sanitized and in full operating order. Assist with the turnover and cleaning of individual sauna rooms between appointments.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to handle high temperatures above 135 degrees for short periods of time.
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to maintain clean saunas for members, which involves getting in and out of the sauna and reaching overhead to adjust settings.
Must be able to bend, kneel, and squat to access and adjust the saunas as needed.
