Responsibilities as our Maintenance/Field Technician
- Responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility,.
- Responsible to manage, direct and complete the field operational functionality and systems to the Pro Housing standards of operation.
- Performing preventative maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC related equipment, painting and building repairs.
- Troubleshoot operation failures and re-establish building services as needed.
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests/work orders as assigned.
- Complete grounds work as directed by Pro Hosing’s management staff.
- Responsible for alerting Pro Housing's management staff of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
- Respond quickly to all guest/tenants and colleague maintenance issues in a timely fashion while keeping accurate record of assigned tasks.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, reporting appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department.
- Meets with vendors and suppliers to discuss scope of repair activities for products and materials and to obtain pricing and bids as directed.
- The physical organization and managed completion of all unit moves.
- Noting and directing any service requests observed while units are being set up or taken down.
- Organizing moves and labor needed to complete assigned projects.
- Communicating with Housekeeping and management staff to insure units are set up and taken down in a timely manner with excellent preparation and coordination.
- Creating and adhering to the moving and preparation schedules.
- Responding quickly to all guest/tenants and colleague concerns as it relates to maintenance and field operations.
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly with a proactive solution oriented approach to excellence.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all guest/tenants, vendors, contractors, and employees.
- Provide a Pro Housing professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Job Requirements
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (Preferred)
- HVAC Experience
- Experience in hotel, apartment building maintenance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational habits.
- Scheduled hours to include weekends and off-hour times based on the ongoing operating needs of the facilities.
- Effective at handling maintenance issues, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
- The Maintenance/ Field technician for Pro Housing works on-site at the Goodyear Club House and physically interfaces with the apartment complexes, warehouse facilities, team members and vendors that house our other teams and inventory on the west side of the Valley. Regular visits are often required to the East Side offices and properties. The position's work schedule requires flexibility and may include Saturday/Sunday and evening work depending on the needs of the seasonal operation.
