Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Management professional to lead and oversee daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards for food preparation, service quality, and cleanliness.
- Supervise and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and performance management to foster a positive team environment.
- Oversee inventory control processes to manage stock levels efficiently, reduce waste, and optimize food costs.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold high standards of food handling and sanitation practices.
- Coordinate shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and implement budgeting strategies to meet financial goals.
- Conduct interviews and participate in staff hiring processes to build a skilled team aligned with operational needs.
- Oversee food production, kitchen management, and catering services to deliver high-quality culinary experiences.
- Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain excellent guest satisfaction levels.
- Support special events including banquets or hotel-related functions to enhance overall guest experience.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health regulations and safety protocols across all departments.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in casual dining or quick service restaurants.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Demonstrated ability in staff training & development, supervising teams, and conducting interviews for new hires.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices applicable in hospitality settings.
- Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, shift scheduling, and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles including customer service excellence and food production oversight.
- Previous roles involving restaurant or hotel management with a focus on leadership and operational efficiency are highly desirable.
