- *Weekend and evening availability is required!
- Shifts needed: 1-3 shifts M-F starting around 2-3PM ending around 10-11PM; Saturday & Sunday PM shifts. Weekend PM shifts start between 4-6pm and will end around 10-11PM, occasional weekend AM shift may be needed. Weekend AM shifts start at 6:45am and typically end between noon-2pm. Hours and number of shifts will depend on facility needs. Hours are flexible! This is a great part-time position for college students!
Job Description:
We are looking for a Doggie Daycare/Kennel Technician to join our team. This candidate will have prior experience working with animals in a similar setting. The Doggie Daycare/Kennel Technician plays a vital role in the daily care and well-being of our furry guests. You’ll be responsible for feeding, cleaning, monitoring, and spending time with cats and dogs of all breeds and temperaments. This is a hands-on position perfect for someone who loves animals and takes pride in keeping a clean, safe environment.
Responsibilities: Feed and provide fresh water to pets according to individual schedules and dietary needs. Clean kennels, litter boxes, and common areas (sweeping, mopping, laundry, sanitizing). Monitor animals for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral changes. Administer medications (oral, topical) as directed.
Qualifications: Prior experience in animal care or similar environment REQUIRED Comfortable handling cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Reliable, punctual, and compassionate! Must be available to work weekends and holidays!
