The Industrial Strategy (IS) Study Specialist will coordinate the collection of CAPEX and Transformation Cost information for Propulsion System Programs for use in preparing information for leadership governance on new and current model products and processes. Must be a self-starter with ability to lead and meet with cross-functional teams and assimilate product/process information to formulate and document implementation plans.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The IS Study Specialist will be responsible for Cost studies and planning including the following:
- Collecting and Documenting Process Cost Estimates including CAPEX and Transformation Costs
- Creating Presentations for leadership review/approval
- Attending Product meetings and monitoring requirements for IS intervention
- Tracking/Reporting out on Planned Activities to implement Product Actions in various forums
- Contributing to or Producing Financial Analysis including Make/Buy Analyses

Basic Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of automotive project experience preferably in Manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in project teams to document/implement project requirements
- Strong computer skills - particularly in Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Ability to communicate with Executive/Senior Management
- Successful candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance/Accounting, or Program Management
- Financial Analysis including Product Cost
- Understanding of Make/Buy analyses
