Baker Assistants Needed for Chelles Macarons
We are a Plano based bakery scratch baking French macarons daily. We pride ourselves on not only serving the best macarons in DFW, but also doing so with a smile! As we are growing, we are seeking more friendly faces to join our sweet team in Plano!
Our business started out as many do – in a home kitchen. Now we are blessed to have expanded to a permanent store in the Dallas Farmers Market and a commercial/retail kitchen in Plano.
Our mission is to provide the most delicious macarons at the most reasonable prices, which is why we have some of the best priced macs in the Metroplex. We love seeing our customers smile when they try their first macaron and we can’t wait to continue doing so – with your help!

Schedule: Work hours vary depending on applicant availability, but shifts run between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. We are looking for someone to take on about 25-40 hours of weekly work.
Requirements
-No experience in the macaron field is required, as we will teach you our method of macaron-making. However, general pastry experience/knowledge is strongly preferred.
-We need someone with a “can-do”, positive, and cooperative attitude. You must be a team player!
-Reliable transportation to our kitchen in Plano
-Desire to jump in and take on necessary responsibilities
-Timeliness – you must be on time for your shift!
-Providing great customer service
Duties: Making macaron batter, baking macaron shells, piping fillings, and serving customers when necessary. There are also opportunities to be able to sell macarons at local events and pop up shops.
Salary: $11+/hr, depending on experience, with the possibility of a performance-based increase
