FUNCTION
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects
all patrons, employees and company assets.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
· Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities
· Development of staff, evaluating and training
· Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting
· Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift
· Review departmental activities with the Security Manager
· Meet with Managers as necessary
· Other duties as assigned
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
· Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
· Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
· Oral and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
· Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
One to Three years-experience as a security guard/law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Valid gaming license
Pay: $19.50 per hour
