Designed various mechanical systems, including steam, natural gas, compressed air, fuel,
laboratory gases, plumbing systems (domestic, waste, vent), chilled and heating hydronic
water, refrigeration, and utility piping design, and air distribution (supply, return, exhaust).
Designs included multi-phase new construction, renovation, and recapitalization projects for
aircraft hangar and maintenance facilities, nuclear site laboratories, fueling stations,
generator and pump houses, offices, and dorms.
Assessed the condition of physical assets and performed utility studies to evaluate current and
future capacity for developing campuses.
Coordinated with interdisciplinary teams (electrical, fire safety, architectural, HVAC,
plumbing, life safety, civil) and assertively directed subcontractors to align project
deliverables with client requirements and QA/QC protocols.
Served as Lead Mechanical Engineer managing HVAC, plumbing, and complex hydronic systems
design from project inception to completion. Led cross-functional engineering teams to
Ensure code, budget, and schedule compliance.
Developing code-compliant engineering designs, drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and
specifications (ASHRAE, ICC, UFC).
Coordinated with various vendors and used vendor selection software to select equipment
(air handlers, rooftop units, chillers, water heaters, compressors, condensing units, heat
trace, fixtures, furnaces, and other appurtenances).
Authored comprehensive preliminary, pre-final, and final design reports and engineering
specifications, prepared accurate cost estimations, material quantities, and equipment
selections.
