Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and professional workforce.
- Oversee inventory control, food preparation processes, and food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing sales data to meet or exceed business targets.
- Maintain strong customer relations by addressing feedback promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, culinary standards, catering events, and special banquet services to deliver memorable dining experiences.
- Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, food safety practices, hospitality standards, and operational procedures to uphold quality benchmarks.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a full service restaurant environment with a focus on food service management and team leadership.
- Extensive background in restaurant management with hands-on experience in supervising food preparation, kitchen operations, and customer service roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for transaction processing and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial oversight within the food industry.
- Experience working in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, culinary practices, and hospitality management principles.
