Overview:
We are seeking skilled and dependable Traveling Commercial Carpenters / Architectural Finishes Installers to join our growing construction team. This position involves extensive travel to commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and specialty construction projects throughout Texas, Kentucky, and surrounding states.
The ideal candidate has experience in commercial construction, architectural finishes, drywall, metal stud framing, ceilings, millwork, and finish carpentry. Candidates should be self-motivated, safety-focused, quality-driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew.
Responsibilities:
- Install metal stud and wood framing systems.
- Hang, patch, repair, and finish drywall.
- Install acoustical ceilings and specialty ceiling systems.
- Install architectural wall panels, decorative finishes, and specialty systems.
- Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, millwork, cabinetry, and finish carpentry components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Layout work accurately using construction plans and field measurements.
- Perform punch-list work and final finish tasks to meet project quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
- Coordinate with project supervisors and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Travel to project sites for assignments ranging from several weeks to several months.
Location:
Travel Required (Primarily Texas and Kentucky, with projects throughout the Midwest and Southern United States)
Compensation:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Metal stud framing
- Wood framing
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Acoustical ceilings
- Finish carpentry
- Millwork installation
- Architectural wall systems
- Commercial interior build-outs
- Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Texas, Kentucky, and surrounding regions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Preferred:
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, laboratory, or commercial construction environments.
- Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.
- Leadership or foreman experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday.
- Working from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
- Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
