Types: Full-time, Part-time About the Role Our 24-hour high-traffic Hartland Mobil General Store Pizza Grill is looking for a dependable Stock Clerk to receive shipments, maintain inventory, and support a great customer experience on the sales floor. The ideal candidate has retail or warehouse experience, a strong eye for detail, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude Responsibilities Customer Service
● Greet customers and offer assistance when they enter the store
● Direct customers to items and suggest complementary products
● Handle customer questions and resolve service issues
● Place special orders for out-of-stock items; call other branches as needed
● Monitor the floor for potential shoplifting and notify management
● Collaborate with the customer service team to improve overall satisfaction Inventory & Stocking
● Receive, unpack, and categorize shipments; stock shelves appropriately
● Restock shelves to maintain optimal product availability
● Remove and return outdated stock to the manufacturer as needed
● Use inventory software to check in products and reconcile purchase orders
● Coordinate with the purchasing group to flag missing or damaged items
● Prepare and distribute special-order merchandise
● Work with Order Pickers to verify accuracy of packaged orders Displays & Merchandising
● Partner with the product marketing group to create seasonal displays
● Assemble and disassemble manufacturer sales floor displays as directed
● Keep shelves and display areas organized and shoppable Warehouse & Facility
● Perform routine maintenance checks of the warehouse area
● Handle cleanup and simple repair duties as needed
● Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required Qualifications Required:
● High school diploma or GED
● 1 year of merchandising experience
● 1 year of custodial experience
● Ability to lift 40 lbs
● Must be able to commute to Fenton, MI 48430
● Attention to detail
