The core responsibilities of this role include: Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management.
Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator
Shift: Weekend Shift: Thursday – Sunday 8am-6pm
Pay: $20.15 per hour plus $1.50 Shift Premium for Weekend Shift
Additional Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible to qualify monthly attendance bonuses.
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: strong computer skills to include MS Outlook & Excel familiarity, Outbound Dock Experience, Production, Warehouse, General Labor.

Role Purpose:
Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.
Key Accountabilities:

Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.

Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.

Track and trace all shipments.

Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) SAP.

Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
-
Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.

Proactively identify problems to management.
-
Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.

Prepare client invoice packets

Confirm rates with carriers.
Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
-
6 months 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred

Communication and customer service skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
