Responsibilities
- Thoroughly plan, secure materials, and prepare projects for day of execution
- Train, discipline, review, and develop new and existing employees
- Evaluate and ensure quality of production and efficiency of landscape crews
- Inspect properties regularly, before, during, and after projects
- Monitor irrigations systems to ensure survivability of newly installed plants
- Oversight and care of equipment within your departments
- Manage staffing needs for current and future work load
- Focus on safety and instill in teams to do the same
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of landscape installation, enhancement, and seasonal color, including:
- Reading of blue prints and landscape plans
- Plant identification, proper planting procedures, plant spacing
- Landscape and hardscape construction materials
- Correct pruning methods
-Some experience with irrigation systems: minor irrigation repairs, ability to operate irrigation clocks and check for water coverage, correct watering practices
- Great communicator with customers as well as colleagues via phone and email
- Proficient computer skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, team player, and willing to learn attitude
- Eligibility to drive company vehicles
