Licensed Insurance Sales Agent — Inbound Medicare & Ancillary Sales
Every call you take is an inbound call from someone who raised their hand. No cold calling. No door knocking. No buying your own leads. You pick up the phone and there's already a person on the other end who wants help with their coverage.
What you'll sell
Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans, plus the ancillary coverage that fills the holes those plans leave behind:
- Hospital indemnity
- Short-term home health care
- Dental plans
How the call works
The client calls in about Medicare. You pull up their Summary of Benefits, walk them through what's covered — and what isn't. The gaps are real: hospital confinement copays, no home health after a fall, zero dental. You fill them on the same call. Most of our volume comes from the ancillary side, so if you can only write Medicare and can't attach, you'll struggle here. If you can do both, this is the best desk you'll sit at.
What you need
- Active Life & Health insurance license TX
- Patience with people in their 60s and 70s — you're explaining, not pitching
- Consistency on a volume desk
A plus, not a requirement
- Medicare experience and prior AEP production
- AHIP certification
- Past ancillary or supplemental health sales
If you've never sold ancillary, we'll teach it. We run training every morning at 8:30 and we teach a process — read the gap off the Summary of Benefits, handle the three objections, close on the same call.
