Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger / Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for food presentation, and takes pride in crafting dishes that leave a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and plated desserts, with precision and creativity.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all dishes.
- Assist with other line cook duties as needed during peak service times.
- Organize and maintain mise en place for assigned station.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to uphold our standards of excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garde manger station and kitchen areas.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Garde Manger or Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Knowledge of classic and contemporary cooking techniques.
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team setting.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Passion for creating visually appealing and flavorful dishes.
