Job Overview
Premium Health Care Inc. is seeking a Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care and support to male residents in our Assisted Living Facility. Due to resident care needs involving privacy and personal care services, this position is limited to male applicants.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, physically active, and committed to providing exceptional person-centered care. This position combines resident care responsibilities, community outings, meal preparation, medication administration, and recreational activities throughout the weekend.
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direct personal care assistance to residents.
- Assisting with community outings and recreational activities.
- Preparing and serving meals while following resident dietary requirements.
- Administering medications under RN delegation and documenting appropriately.
- Assisting residents with hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Providing companionship and meaningful resident engagement.
- Maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Completing all required documentation in RTasks.
- Supporting resident safety and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only due to resident privacy and personal care needs.
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License required.
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical caregiving tasks.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Previous DSP, PCA, or caregiving experience preferred.
Friday 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Saturday & Sunday 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM**
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents while providing compassionate, hands-on care in a home-like environment
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
