We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. The Appliance Technician will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction and the efficient operation of appliances.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair processes and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing repairs in customers' homes or businesses.
- Operate a box truck for transporting tools, equipment, and parts as needed for service calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician in a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and HVAC principles is preferred.
- Familiarity with field service operations and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents related to appliance repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
