Prince William Academy, a secular private school and preschool, is seeking experienced lead teachers for our early years division, for children ages between 6 weeks to 5 years.
Must be loving, energetic, and a team player. Must be able to participate in all aspects of child care, and communicate well with parents and school administration. Experience working with children is required. Preference given to candidates with Montessori experience.

Preschool Teacher responsibilities include:
Planning and implementation of lessons
Planning and implementing circle time and centers
Student evaluation, including quarterly progress reports
Participation in the Quality VAB5 initiative, including training on the STREAMin3 Curriculum (grant included for lead teachers) and quarterly observations
Providing daily reports in Brightwheel
Responding promptly to parent inquiries
Maintaining NAEYC portfolio
Maintaining a safe, clean, positive environment
Overseeing snacks and lunch, and naptime
Diapering and potty training (ages 2 and 3)
Maintaining all licensing and accreditation standards (VDOE and NAEYC)
Maintaining 16 credit hours of training annually (provided by PWA and online)
Maintaining up-to-date CPR/First Aid/TB test
Successfully passing background checks
