- Staff Hours: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM
- Student Program Hours: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- No fridays or weekends
About the Position
IWRBR Consulting is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Clubhouse Leader to lead our Clubhouse Kids Afterschool Program at the Eclipse Clubhouse.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily program operations, supervising two program staff members, and creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students in 1st grade through 8th grade. The Clubhouse Leader serves as the on-site leader, ensuring high-quality programming while fostering positive relationships with students, families, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the Clubhouse Kids Afterschool Program.
- Supervise, coach, and support two program staff members to ensure quality program delivery.
- Create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for students in 1st through 8th grade.
- Facilitate literacy activities, homework assistance, STEM projects, arts and crafts, recreation, and social-emotional learning activities.
- Implement daily lesson plans and enrichment activities provided by the organization.
- Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate program documentation.
- Utilize positive behavior management techniques to encourage student success.
- Communicate professionally with families, property management, and IWRBR Consulting leadership.
- Prepare activity spaces before students arrive and ensure the clubhouse is cleaned and organized at the end of each program day.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all organizational safety policies and procedures.
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and a commitment to youth development.
Qualifications
- Experience leading an afterschool program, childcare center, youth program, summer camp, school-age program, recreation program, or similar setting.
- Previous experience supervising staff or serving in a leadership role is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively manage groups of children ranging from 1st through 8th grade.
- Experience with classroom management and positive behavior support.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
