We are looking for a reliable, engaging homeschool tutor for our 8 year old son, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
What you'll do:
- Teach homeschool lessons using the curriculum and lesson plans that I provide in our home.
- Help keep lessons organized, engaging, and on schedule.
- Provide encouragement, structure, and positive accountability.
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of an elementary-aged learner.
No lesson planning is required. Everything will be prepared for you—I'm looking for someone who enjoys teaching and can confidently implement the materials provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience, tutoring experience, or education coursework preferred.
- Experience working with children with ADHD and/or autism is a plus.
- Patient, dependable, organized, and able to communicate clearly.
- Comfortable following established lesson plans while adjusting instruction as needed.
Optional Additional Hours Available
If you're interested in more hours, there is also an opportunity to provide habilitation and respite services from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
Pay: $21/hour
These morning hours are completely optional. You are welcome to apply for just the tutoring position or for both positions if you're looking for additional hours.
