*Job Summary* As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting potential tenants with the leasing process and ensuring high occupancy rates for the property. Your role will involve showcasing available units, addressing inquiries, and providing excellent customer service to prospective renters. *Duties* - Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and highlight key features - Process lease applications and conduct background checks - Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person - Maintain accurate records of rental applications and leases - Utilize property management software (CMMS) to update unit availability and lease information - Assist in resolving tenant issues and conflicts in a professional manner - Utilize sales techniques to upsell additional services or amenities - Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth leasing operations *Skills* - Proficiency in property management processes - Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail - Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues effectively - Sales skills to promote available units and upsell services - Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is a plus - Knowledge of OneSite or similar property management software - Excellent negotiation skills - Professional phone etiquette for effective communication
