Sparrow Moving is a faith-based, family-owned moving company serving the Minneapolis area. We started this company because too many people have had bad moving experiences, movers who didn't care, who rushed, who treated someone's home like a warehouse. We exist to be the opposite of that.
What You'll Do
- Show up on time, ready to work
- Carefully wrap, pad, load, transport, and unload household goods
- Treat every customer's belongings like they're your grandmother's
- Work as part of a crew — communicate, coordinate, cover each other
- Represent Sparrow's values in every interaction with customers and teammates

- Smart — Not book smart — situationally smart. You read a room, you anticipate problems before they happen, and you figure things out.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is a plus
- Familiarity with driving manual transmission vehicles and route driving responsibilities
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be available if needed
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment under physical demands and time constraints
Hospitality background is a plus. If you've worked in hotels, restaurants, or any role where the job was to make someone's experience exceptional , you already understand what we're after. Moving is hospitality on wheels.
